— I'm kind of happy, 'cause it's been a long time since we played in front of an audience, but I'm not like really excited. Last time we played it was a piece of shit.
— So, you're a little scared.
— Not at all. It's just that, we never had that 'click' with the audience. We've been told a few times that we were doing a good job, but I never saw that. So I guess I'm just happy because of the feeling it gives me when somebody is watching us play.
— Why do you think you never had that 'click'?
— 'Cause we're too 'pop music'. There is no other band playing that kind of music in the city right now. We don't fit in 'cause we didn't change or evolved, so I guess it's kind of our fault too. Plus, the bands that were playing the same kind of music when we started are all gone. They quit. I saw a guy from one of those bands yesterday at the movies, actually. He used to be a drummer, he was great. His band made it's way to fame, then something happened and they had to return. Now he's bald, married, and even had a son. That's kind of creepy, you know? We're younger, but there's a big chance for us to end up like him. I mean, that future doesn't sucks, but makes you think.
